** IF ATTENDEES BRING RESPIRATORS (OR PURCHASE AT TRAINING CLASS) AND THEIR MEDICAL EVALUATIONS, THE INSTRUCTOR WILL PERFORM A PROPER FIT TESTING AND WILL PROVIDE THE REQUIRED LAMINATED CERTIFICATION CARD. OSHA REQUIRES A YEARLY FIT TESTING AND MEDICAL EVALUATION IS REQUIRED YEARLY.
Overview
IICRC Certified & Approved Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

In the Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Course you will learn about the principles, methods, procedures and tools for structural and content remediation. The course addresses guidelines and industry standards, containment types and set-ups, pressure differentials, demolition and cleaning procedures, microbiology, personal protection equipment and sampling methods. It provides the training to conduct remediation projects includes a hands-on section and concludes with the exam to receive IICRC™ certificate.
